Hi all,

After searching the net for an answer, they seem slightly out of date. So wanted to get a few peoples opinions.

What is a reasonable price to pay per point for downlights? It's an existing building so he will have to take up floor boards or install via the loft.

I will be supplying the downlight and lamp, the sparky will be providing cable.

Thanks in advance

Sam

If you're supplying, anywhere from £30 to £60 per point I would have expected. But circumstances may cause these numbers to vary greatly.

Some electricians may have a problem with fitting customer supplied parts, either because they're crap or because they can no longer offer a warranty on the work.
