I'm going to install from the scratch downlights and fun extractor in 2 toilets as well as lights,shaver point and hand dryer in kind of a lobby room that is before You entrance those toilets.Lobby has two sinks,tabs and stuff.According to reg. You can't install any switches.So how you recon to bite this?

is this a residential place?
what's a fun extractor?
"tabs"?
you can have switches in approved zones.

If this is a commercial place, or any place open to the public, are you insured to do this work? I suspect not, as you ask a basic question that any electrician can answer.

If this is a residential place, do you know about part p?

FUN=FAN
TABS=TAPS
made some mistakes while writing.What a big deal.
The place is commercial.
Ok I know what bathrooms zones are but in this case it's not like regular bath/shower place.
To overkilled and avoid putting switches in that lobby I was thinking about PIR detectors (instead of light switch),pull cords.
But what about fan and its isolator switch? Above the door is out of zones
area or zone 3 which allows to install wall mounted 230V switch.
Anyone disagree?

umm if theres no bath/shower then its afaict not a special location at all.

but you do still have to comply with the general rule that equipment should be suitable for its location.

Indicates such a dreadful lack of attention to detail & checking what you've done, and such a lack of interest in doing a good job that I'd not trust you to change a plug.

Right, mount 2 FCUs up near the ceiling in the lobby.
One with 3A for shaver point
one with 13A for hand dryer.
Put these on a 20A radial, or if you have one present here, the ring final.

I would suggest pull cords in the lobby and both toilets.

For the extractors, put the isolator up near the ceiling, running 3C+E to the light junction box.

Now you know how vaguely to do it, are you actually allowed to? Do you have public liability insurance? And all the knowledge? DIY work in commercial premises is not recommended (even flicking an MCB on after its tripped is debatable). What sort of building is this? What's your electrical background?

According to regs, you can install switches. You can even install plateswitches in a room containing a fixed bath or shower cubicle, as long as they are in Z3.

If your lack of knowledge of 7671 is this extensive, should you be considering this job. Have you got Public Liability? Because it sounds like you are!
