How do you calculate bar pressure and head I'm confused?

way back (when everything was in Black & White) when I was an apprentice
there were no pressure gauges on open systems they were called Altitude gauges and they measured in Ft head/water

And they're still more bl0ody accurate than the crap in the merchants now.

I loved them you could see at a glance if the ball-valve was stuck saving the need to climb up to the tank room un-necessarily
i usually calculate head in minutes
I used to be seeing a lady where it would often be calculated in hours. Just a shame it never worked out
