How to connect 3pin lights to light circuit.

The main issue I had was that there was multiples of these devices plugged in I think ?
Maybe I need a trip to Specsavers, but I see no reference to 'multiple devices' in the OP.

In fact, there probably wouldn't be a need, since those sort of products usually allow for multiple (ELV) strings of LEDs to be daisy-chained from the output of a single plug-in power supply/controller. For example, my 'Christmas lights' include 4 strings of LEDs (each 200 LEDs) in series fed from one plug-in device like the one we are talking about.

That would represent an increased risk as against a single connection point for lighting
Risk of what?

“the ones we bought have a plastic moulded transformer built into a 3pin plug. ...”

It’s just not my idea of safe installation work using plug in gadgets for lighting

I guess we'll just have to leave you with 'that idea' and respect your obvious right to have such an idea.

Do you not have any table lamps, standard lamps, inspection lamps, Christmas tree (etc.) lights etc. etc.?

I've been using lights running on units such as that for a long time and currently have something in the order of 4-5Km of lights, they have proved to be the most successful and reliable style by far and to date I've had faults on only 2 strings of lights, the power supplies/controllers have been totally reliable and registered with my public liability insurance for at least 10 years.

So what am I missing?
I had a quick look at paperwork, Christmas 2024
1) Church; 4 sets inside. Hall 1; 4 sets for general use, 6 sets on stage. Hall 2; 2 sets. Outside; 5 sets across the buildings, 4 sets on 2 trees, 2 in the nativity
2) Church; 2 sets inside, 6 sets on the 30ft tree
3) Community hall complete ceiling cover formed by suspending to a central steel wire running full length 16m front to back to each side every 500mm, I estimate each run is 10m so 320m so >6 sets
4) Along my street 4 sets
5) Outside lights at home not recorded but I'll estimate 8-10 sets.

This means something like 60 sets, the majority are 50m long so less than I expected at under 3Km.
