How to connect to clay sewage pipe

Shown connection to clay waste coming in at steep angle from toilet directly behind wall.

We are moving toilet further away from the wall and so need shallower angle of connection all the way to clay pipe to get steady drop over the distance.

We are not using a mascerator because of sanitary towels and other solids that cause never ending nightmares.

Ideas for connecting to clay pipe.
- Boss strap around clay pipe
- Dig around clay pipe and put new plastic in line T in
- What clay pipe adapters would you use
- other?

That black part looks like pvc? Can you move it internally/what connections do you have internally? If you do want to join onto the clay/salt glazed you can use a flexseal connection and come off in pvc.

Please ask the Ladies not to flush sanitary products down the WC, they are another item that causes havoc in the sewers, and are promptly screened straight out when they (eventually) arrive at the Treatment Works. Cut the middle man out, and put them straight into the bin please!

Yes the black part is PVC. It's a 90 or 135. we can only see a very small part of it.
Our new toilet location is further away from the clay pipe than the present location so we need to connect directly into the clay pipe to get the constant angle we need for flow.
As shown the clay Y junction has a steep drop, using up too much of the gradient over far too short a run.

Crikey, that looks alike a bit of a mission to do anything with. Have we any pics of the inside of the property? there really isn't anything to couple to there, without removing the clay junction and replacing it, but that would entail breaking out the concrete to get to the pipe upstream of the junction.

Having said that, the junction looks like it's cracked to me, so may well need replacing regardless.
