I did similar. The bricky charged me £250 for 2 visits, 1 day and one evening.

I dug and poured the foundations then he built upto floor level one evening.

I then lined the inside with visqueen and poured the floor, probably about 5 or 6 inches thick. I didn't insulate it.

Then he built the rest of the bricks and blocks up once the floor had cured.

I then fitted the windows, door and roof. I did the roof with 4x2 rafters and Redland Cambrian tiles.

How long did it take you and cost of materials? Thnks

A wild guess, £500-600 materials. £500 for the door. That’s doing it yourself. The Brickie could do the walls in a couple of days.

I did everything except the brickwork. I even knocked down a neighbours wall to get an exact match on the bricks.

It probably took me 2 weeks working around my 'real work'. Foundations would have been a couple of hours but I'm very good on the end of a shovel.
