Hi - I've got an expansion gap of about 13mm between the edge of a newly laid parquet floor and the bi-fold windows.

I've got some 18mm x 9 mm beading to cover this but I'm not sure how to fix it? If I nail it to the parquet (and fill the holes) I'm guessing it will prevent the floor being able to expand but I think using contact adhesive between bead (which is oak) and the alu bi-folds would look a bit messy and might not work as it's only 9mm high.

Is there a correct way to fix it? Many thanks

I would use trim to match the door frame so it appears to be part of it (superglue).13mm is wide infill with cork strip.
