How to get into cross head radiator valve

The radiator vale in the bathroom is leaking where the tap part screws in and out, i can loosen the collar but how do i remove the collar so i can get to the working parts. Thought i would just remove the end cap on the tap part to find a screw which would then loosen to remove the tap and slide off the collar but it all looks like one piece. Hope this makes sense.

the top cap should unscrew then have a screw underneath.

i assume the link is the same type , if so unscrew the cap on the top of the screwhead, gently use grips so you dont mark it, under there will be a screw, take off cross head and dome cover, tighten up nut where spindle goes through, you may need to completely loosen it and pack with ptfe tape before refitting/tightening nut
