I've just finished fitting an oak floor the only problem is hiding the screw holes round the edges of the floor I was advised by DVD that came with the hidden nail device to buy a plug cutter and cut plugs out of the off cuts but the plug cutter burns out ,after buying 2 and getting nowhere I gave up any ideas ? a good quality plug cutter that is not used to fast will work o.k. But another way is to drill pilot holes in the tongue and nail the last plank in place. I dont like using screws in the last plank! You could also face nail with something like a cork pin or thin brad nail. Another way is to glue the last plank in with silicon. But i never said that!

Thanks for that I'll try using an electric screw driver rather than a drill will let you know how I get on ,Thanks again ,Pat T
