Here is a cross section of my parents house.
As you can see, it's a bit of an unusual design.
Currently there is a small amount of insulation in the loft, but that is it.
Understandably the heat loss of the house is massive. Not only is it expensive, but it can be really quite cold in winter.
I'm trying to work out how best to insulate this for them with minimal disruption. I don't want to be removing plasterboard if at all possible.
I'm also a bit unsure about bunging everything up with insulation, how this'll effect the ventilation of the voids and loft.
Anyone come across this sort of thing before? What did you do?
Any ideas greatfully received.
