Hello I’m currently building a shelving unit to go in the awkward space underneath my stairs. I need to join two pieces of plywood at a 50 degree angle (2x25) what would be the best way of doing this? Not sure if Glue and screw would work, have seen pocket holes but unsure if they are suitable. Any help would be greatly appreciated

how thick is the ply
spans and other materials used will dictate how joints are formed

The obvious choice to me would be a biscuit jointer (used with a mitre cut)

Simplest way is a softwood batten and screw through 2 ways.

Set it back from the front edge and bevel back the batten....then you won't see it much.

Is the joint vertical or horizontal or inclined? What parts will be seen?
