How to light a shower/bath-room

Please do not move this to non-UK forum. I am asking for opinions on how to light a room and not how to wire a room.

Would like your opinions on the following.

I need to light :

1) Shower-room 0.90 x 2.20 inc shower +basin
2) Shower-room 1,10 x 3.10 inc shower, basin and wc.

Height of both is 2.50 m with false ceiling down to 2.30 m.

Both rooms are below a living-area so no special probs about condensation etc as vapour barrier will be installed.

Since likely to use shower-curtain rather than screen, think will need light above both areas.

Can't imagine total usage more than 1 hr/day but would like to have possibility to use energy-saving lamps ( LED etc ) when at reasonable cost/ usage level
