Or borrow a dog and let it out to bark like crazy haha. On a more serious note, a photocell connected up and mounted underneath the floodlight would make it switch on and off, or maybe, if there is such a thing (I haven't looked but probably will haha!) a strobe suitable for outdoor use could be used. I am now searching the net and will update this post if I find anything useful.
