I'm putting some vinyl down in our bathroom. I was told to use plywood as a base. So I've cut some sections and laid them down. Now this isn't going to be a long term solution as we are remodelling the bath room in a few years. So I need to know how best to fix this floor down and fill the gaps.

If I use screws, I've read a few suggestions to level off, they range from using levelling fluid, to just gaffer taping.

I'm really lost how to do this little project. [/list]

Hi Totalitarian

Depending on he thickness of the ply
eg 18mm then screws are fine

5.5mm then either electric staple gun with divergent staples or annualar(ring shank) nails at 150/200mm centres.

joints can be filled with Ardex Feather finish or F Balls Stopgap 500 micro
