Folks
I need to remove a old Electric shower , as I have a combi boiler shower going in.
The old Electric shower , has its own ring from the junction box (30amp)
The simplest way would be just to remove the fuse and crimp the ends.
But that does not sound like the best way to do it.
I would guess the following is correct , but please advise.
1. Shut all power down.
2. Make sure power is really off
3. Remove fuse
4. Remove the old Shower Cable , that go in to the fuse.
5. Crimp off both ends of the cable.
6. Remove old show switch , plaster over , and tile etc
FYI it is a old style fuse box , not a nice one with MCB
As a side note , should old style fuse boxes , really be used these days.
Common sense tells me no .....
Thanks for any advise.
