Morning all!

2.0DI-D, 2009, manual, with air con (any other required info.?)

Is it any more complex than:

drain
top and bottom hoses off
disconnect plug to fan
unbolt
lift out

swap fan from old to new

and then refit, in reverse to above?

Or, is it the faff of taking off a load of bodywork, bumpers, and ancilliaries, before even starting the actual job?

Thanks in anticipation (and an amount of foreboding........) :)

Thanks John,

I've seen the videos, but unfortunately they all seem to be Amurcan (bigger engines, and automatic transmissions).

That said, I expect it won't be wildly different from what is in your vid; I was most fearful of having to drop the front of the car out, just to get the rad out, and the new one in :)

No experience with the Outlander Im afraid but plenty with the L200 pickup - nothing outrageous here but the ‘slam panel’ which the bonnet drops down to has to come off, and the rad top mounts are integral with it.
Its unusual for the air con condenser to have to be disconnected, often they can hang on their pipes.
If you contact Mitsubishi, they will have a time formula for the job.
John :)
