How to replace butterfly tube

Maybe because those pesky electronics designers have caught me out on that one  was thinking in terms of magnetic chokes...
The one I'm looking at is a magnetic jobbie, non-HF, traditional starter can, a couple of flickers and "bangs" as it starts up...

Why am I looking at a ballast now which says it can take 1 x 18W or 1 x 23W or 1 x 24W or 1 x 26W lamps?
Most chokes have an "L" after the wattage as it is sized for linear lamps
An 18/20 "L" linear choke also does 18/24/26/28 watt compact lamps.
It is quite often found
A 16 watt 2d has a 16 watt magnetic choke
A 28 watt 2d only has a 20 watt magnetic choke

Mine's a Tridonic EC 20 B90 - not all of those numbers relate to the rating, but I cannae remember which. Think it's the B90 part.
