How to secure shower tray?

We have built a wood platform for our double shower tray to sit on so there is a drop for drainage what is the best method for fixing the tray to the platform would sanitary silicone suffice or would i need to use something else what is the best way

Either the sealant, as per your suggestion, or a sand/cement bedding.

Many stone resin tray manufacturers seem to recommend the latter these days, but if the tray is on 18mm WBP plywood then my personal preference is still silicone.
 
I agree, I can't get sand and cement to stick to it. I've been using gripfill variants since they told us not to use silicone.

UPVC Trims used in double glazing industry make a neat finish to the wooden plinth. Same look as the Mira Flight riser kit. Bead of silicone to finish it off. Available in variaous widths from window manufacturers very cheaply.

ur tray should be levelled. it has its own built in fall inside the tray.i also use silicone , never been problematic yet.
