How to terminate a cable out of flexible conduit

I have had a look inside the light to see if the hole can be enlarged, but there is lots of metal moulding on the inside, and the gu10 lampholder is in the way of making a bigger hole, or even a new hole.

Also unfortunately the glands can’t be screwed together directly.

I may be misunderstanding but how would that work, screwing the dome head to the thread of the conduit gland would bypass the flex clamping part surely.
If that i s what you meant, thats a Wiska gland and the thread in the dome head is well too loose, its more like 22mm

Different glands have different designs.

Some are M20 both sides.

Some have compression inserts which can be transferred/adapted.

Or even get a flxible conduit connecter with a female thread.

How big is the light fitting, fit a beza box on the back of it?

What size is the existing hole?
If it cant be enlarged, purchase reducing adapter from 20mm to fit.

May have to look at PG sizes
