Hi all,
Over the past 2 years the tyrolean rener has been flaking off the chimney.
Im having to be very budget-focused (due to other building works Im having done).

Other than it being an eye-sore, how urgent is it to rectify? Is it best to get it done this year, or perghaps can wait for a couple of years?
How much do you think I should budget for?
Does it even need a tyrolean finish? Perhaps cheaper option is to just remove all the blown render and paint it white.
While Im at it, is it worth removing the defunct clay chimney pot? If so, what should it be replaced with - a metal cowl?
Thanks
