I am unsure of Premium bonds, heard of them but never looked into them, I have £10,000 spare and was going to put it in a savings account. If I invest £10,000 is it secure and does it pay interest?

I had a bit of a windfall and got 10,000 and don't want it just sat in the bank so looking to put it somewhere, these seemed to be a bit of a savings acoount.

I don't think you can lose your initial amount (could be wrong)

But you might win big or you might win nothing....I think.
