morning
not entirely sure this belongs here, but...
as a lot of people do, we suffer a bit from condensation. Nowhere near as bad as others, we ventilate, we heat etc. But we live in a bowl shaped valley, surrounded by a wood. There are days when there's no wind, so opening the windows doesn't always work. It's a chalet bungalow, with only two bedrooms and one bathroom upstairs.
We're replacing the downstairs bathroom in the near future. Obviously we'll put in a decent inline fan above the shower cubicle, but is it worth going for something like a Tempra (vent axia), which is supplemental to the fan. It would run 24/7 and just hopefully create some movement of air in the downstairs bathroom, and (due to the fact the kids never shut the door!) the rest of downstairs.
Would it be any good? Would it just be a white elephant on the wall, and completely pointless? I doubt it would be on anything other than trickle 99% of the time.
Ideally a PIV like Nuaire would be good, but being a chalet bungalow it may not be completely feasible.
