can you get / could you convert a boiler that runs on bottled gas?

my cousin had a large range cooker that could be run off bottled gas, after he changed the little jet's for the right ones, and my gas hob came with a little bag of different jets presumably for the same thing..

obviously it wouldn't be a DIY job and is as the title says purely hypothetical..

Of course Heating boilers can be supplied to operate on Propane...look at manufacturers websites for info - converting a boiler to run on a diffrent gas is a complex operation particullarly with modern premix burners fitted to condensing appliances air / gas ratio has to be acurately adjusted and on many versions the fan speed curve has to be modfied this is not for the DIY'er!! ;)

Always read the instructions, or failing that, ask the manufacturer.
Some boilers can't run on LPG.
