from my extension lead but i have checked for errors and found none

what are you using/ plugging in to the lead?
when you say you've checked it out, do you know what your looking for?

and most importantly why are you still using an extension lead that could be potentialy lethal!!!!

Could easilty be you are plugging it into a socket with no earth......
