I owe £40,000

According to the newspapers Gordon Brown says that along with every one else in the UK i owe £40,000, the funny thing is i don't remember borrowing it.

Maybe i should try for a bankloan,but then again i could be borrowing my own money back again to give to gordon to give back to the bank again, i'm getting a bit confused, i think i will try a debt counsellor.

I think I read yesterday that £40k is the average amount that has been wiped off everyone's "riches" in the UK due to the credit crunch.

That sounds like a good idea. if everyone in the UK declared themselves bankrupt at the same time then the national debt could be cleared within 7 years which is the statute of limitations on debt i believe,
