I laid down a solid wood floor (which was already factory varnished) and then applied 2 coats of additional Varnish to add protection of spills etc

I now regret putting this varnish on as it's 'peeling off' as it doesnt have a bond or key to the realwood floor

What is the best way to remove this varnish or does the entire floor need to be sanded and re-varnished

Thanks

I'm afraid it does.

What made you decide to put extra layers of varnish on it, did the instructions tell you??

for extra protection you should have used maintenance product

Thaks 'WoodYouLikeke', is there anything out there that would simply desolve the newly pinted varnish

You better wait for Nelson, he knows the most about that stuff.

We are more 'oil-people' ourselves (which you would have been able to remove if applied too much, too many)
