hope someone can give me advice. My boiler is lit but when i turn on the heating or hot water nothing is happening. I am going to get someone out to have a look but would be gratefull if anyone could give me an indication as to what could be the possible cause so i can atleast sound like i know what i am talking about. I have been ripped off a few times in the past and am keen not to be again.

and go away and learn the basics of how a boiler works,and then you won't get ripped off by the next fitter who sees what a soft touch you are

RS 40 .......I used to install them ....pre Corgi :
siezed pump, boiler would still fire .m/valve would still move,he said nothing hapens
