HELP!

Am selling my house and my very old yet reliable boiler failed its safety inspection on its casing seal. Apart from thats its great. Everywhere I ask this item is obsolete. and if I can't find the part I will have to give the buyers £3k for a new boiler which i so don't want to do...

Any solutions for me old wise ones!

What do Ideal boilers say?

if they say its obsolete then its obsolete.

If no one stocks it then you are guffed.

What percentage of the house sale is £3k?

you can get a generic case seal from parts centre for these but remember qualified guy to fit it

Thanks guys

Parts centre say its obsolete. If i can use a generic one then why would the gas engineer not know this or offer as a solution, nor did parts centre.

£3k would be a massive dent in my profit and I need every penny as expecting my first child in a few weeks arrgghhh

OP look on ebay and just put in regin case seal there is various sizes

  was on about that other day used to fit more in a day than have in last 3 or so years

Still have a few WRS, Mexico's and Kingfishers.... all of which have outlasted the Suprima generation.

Injectors and burners are getting thin on the ground and TC quality is dropping.
