Ideal Gas C80FF Combi Boiler

Hi, I've got an Ideal C80FF combi -boiler and it keeps on cutting out when i use the hot water. Theres a red neon cutout light/button on the front that keeps coming on and I have to jump out of the shower and keep resetting it.

Have had an engineer round and he says its just me (surely not) and the systems safe and ok. any ideas? HELP

It sounds to me as if the fan venturi needs cleaning!

Have you had it serviced regularly by somebody who understands the boiler?

it also could be the dhw flow switch
