Ideal HE24 Heat or hot water but not both?

Newbie here so be gentle.

Also apologies if this has already been posted I couldnt find this exact issue through search.

My grandma has an Ideal HE24 and she is able to get hot water or heating but NOT both?

Ive called a couple of local plumbers only to be told "New boiler" without even visiting!

Just wondered if this was a known issue amd if theres an easy(ish) and cheap(ish) fix.

Yes it can repaired ,you just need to find a central heating engineer ,as opposed to a plumber. Most likely a problem with motorised valves. If that's a recent pic of you ,it may be a bit outside your skill set to do it yourself
