Ideal Icos boiler fires up and Bangs

Hi, we are regularly getting a "Bang" from our ideal icos boiler when it fires up. The boiler clicks to indicate its about to ignite and then "Bang" it sounds that there is a build up or to much gas being ignited?? It does not happen every time but seems to be getting more frequent. i just hope the problem is not dangerous The house and system is only 2 years old and the boiler was serviced after the first year.
Any assistance would be appreciated. Ian J

it sounds like a blocked condensate trap to me

get it serviced ASAP

Ignition electrodes need replacing

Ignition electrodes. Book a RGI and advise what boiler it is and that it will require ignition electrode and probably burner earth pins then have it properly serviced too.
