I have an ideal logic heat 18 boiler but on the boiler there is only one temperature dial. I have a tank for the hot water which I believe the same boiler deals with. The same boiler also heats the central heating system. But from what I can understand this isn’t a combi boiler. Just wanted to know what kind of system this is? I want to add rust inhibitor when I remove one radiator that needs to be replaced. But the inhibitor specs says only suitable for indirect central heating systems. I know combi boilers are indirect but what about this system?

Thanks

"Indirect" means the heated water flowing out of the boiler passes through a coil in the cylinder and this heats up your hot water. "Direct" usually means that the cylinder is heated purely by an electric immersion heater.
