help
the heating is not coming on and there is a frost outside, if you turn the thermostat up until it clicks it normaly lights the boiler, however tonight nothing happens, if you put the hot water on then it works ok,
do you think it could be the pump??

Is there a motorised valve with three pipes on it or are there two with two pipes?

If a/ Trace the live from the roomstat, does it get to the white leed of the mid position motorised valve? is the make on no call for heat terminal of the cylinder stat connected to the grey leed from motorised mid position valve? No? connect it. Yes? problem with valve, new synchronous motor new head or new valve needed.

If b/ trace live from room stat, does it get to valve? yes? New head new synchronous motor or new valve needed.
