I have a Baxi/Potterton 2008 boiler.
Most of the time its fine, sometimes
though when it goes to fire up it will...
1.make a banging noise (sometimes loud)
2. The flame will light and then go out (when it bangs)
3. Sometimes after a few attempts it will not bang
and light up OK. Other times it will attempt to light
five times and then go to ignition lockout.
Most days its fine, on the days its not
its a pain as its cold showers all round.
