Well that makes things much easier. However, can you tell us, pretty please, which poster told you, and on which page of this topic, what and/or how to think?

I wish people using the word 'racist would actually take the time to learn what it means. The definition is:

1) The prejudice that members of one race are intrinsically superior to members of other races.

2) Discriminatory or abusive behavior towards members of another race.

An observation that economic migrants/illegal immigrants are abusing the asylum system is NOT racist.

However. If I say that I am 'patriotic' and rate my people higher than other races - then that is in fact racist.

If we accept your definition, then surely by that token a belief that all members of those groups of people are guilty of abuse is indeed racist.

What say you about all the other views of other races that have been expressed on this topic joe?

Guys, and joe, the ability to distinguish between non-racist and racist beliefs is a handy barometer of the ability to (a) keep an open mind and (b) avoid generalising. As if you didn't know it.

And there's no reason to get het up if it really isn't important to you. Except that it is of course.

Here's an example of a generalisation: "loony left", sometimes foreshortened to "loonyleft" when the saliva is really dripping fast.

Well that will depend in part on your definition of "war" and "war zone", but it will also depend on the definition on the part of the combatants as well. Just to bring up an extreme, Guantanamo bay is almost not on the planet according to the USA government.
