Imbalanced EU budget

Hey, I've just read something on BBC news.

Apparently, Jose Manuel Barroso, allegedly our EU president but I don't recall an election, thinks that the UK needs to pay more into the EU...

Hmmmm, guy from the third biggest taker wants more money from the second biggest giver... who woulda thunk it!

What's wrong with working for a living?

However, the biggest contributors per head of population are the Netherlands and Sweden, with Germany in third place. Following at a certain distance are the UK, Austria, Denmark and France.

As one of the smaller countries NL pays the most per head to the EU, must be working very hard (and that on a 37 hour week)
Anyone want to guess that certain distance?
