Incomer fuse, too old?

Hello.

Bit of info.....We have been working in a ground floor 2 bedroom flat, fitting a new kitchen, bathroom, decorating and rewire. The ceiling is of concrete slab and we had to overboard all to create space for cables and pipework. It a late 1948 2 floor flats with a loft space. It to be complete end of june.

The question is, is the incomer too old?

I have had sent a email and photo to EDF, no reply yet.

Not sure - it is EDF property so only they can do anything with it.
Where's the RCD protection?
Also need a "Safety electrical connection Do not remove" tag on the MET.
I'd argue the point that the earthing conductor to upstairs should be in a secured henley too.

The neutral isn't fused so they are probably not that bothered - just ask them.

They aren't that bothered if the neutral is fused round here 123!!

Reported cast iron cut out and fused neutral yesterday.

It has'nt got a fused neutral, that a two pole supply one for the flat and the other for something else.

Who said anything about the neutral being fused

I'm amazed how some of you have these old looking meters, yet we have had two meter changes since we had one with the mini dials like that.

Do they do it on usage ?

Waits for jokes about fidding.....

I don't know how they decide who gets which type of meter.

The supplier replaced my meter at home a couple of years back, and fitted a refurbished meter similar to the one in the OP of this thread
