Hi, hope somebody can help with this (you've never let me down yet !)
Washer works ok, the dryer doesn't work at all. Starts normally, then shuts down and the errors show up - Delay timer - Easy Iron - Spin - together with the Lock, all begin flashing.. There is a smell, maybe burning, I haven't let it go for too long in case it blows up !! Any idea what the next step is,
Pleeeeeze.. Thanks sooo much :)

To add to my post and with thanks to Rocks1 for the information, the error code is 1,2&4, which is ntc, fan heater.. Any suggestions before I need to call an engineer. Thanks a lot :)

Does the fan go round does it get hot. Check the wires on the heater box.

Thanx Rocks1 :)
I have the top off the machine. The heater gets very hot, checked all the connections, they're fine. The machine makes clicking sounds as it works back and forth but I cant hear a fan, would it be visible ? The dryer seems to work until the errors come up. When I open the door (after a minute or so) the dryer does still feel cold to the touch. :?:

Remove the heater box and check the fan is turning , the fan is visible once the heater box is off. Also flush the condenser out that's underneath the fan and it runs down the back of the drum. Do it with the fill hose I replied to a previous post a few days ago of how to do it.

Will do rocks1
I read up your answers on the other post too, but don't have a torx tool to get the heater cover off. I'll pick up one tomorrow. Is there a particular tool I need, or do I have to pick up the whole set ? :?
At this stage, do you reckon it's fixable ?

You can buy a cheap set for a fiver , if the fan is jammed you will need another torx bit they come in a set no point in buying one bit. Yes it's fixable at the mo try wot I said and see what happens.

Hi, have completed the tasks and put machine back together again, but I now have errors 1,2,3&4 flashing (dryer heater relay) I haven't been able to do much with the machine now, it wasn't draining and kept filling. Switched off from the mains to stop it, but cannot get past this new error code. Where do I go from here ? BTW, the fan turned easily and the condenser flushed through (bloody mess I made too, absolutely soaked kitchen and floor and two very indignant lovebirds)

Over filling is caused by pressure pipe loose or disconnected. If water is still in it put it on drain to get rid of the water. Also leave it overnight poss got water on the pcb

Cannot get it to drain, m/c is over-reacting now. I'll do as you suggested and leave it to dry out til the morning. Where is the pressure pipe located and I'll check if it's loose/disconnected before I put it to bed for the night... :)

Right hand side of the cabinet it's a red round piece of plastic with a black pipe running down the side of the drum.

I'm not sure about the red plastic piece and black pipe ? From the top of the m/c on the side I can see a largeish black pipe, it seems to be well connected to the drum, but not sure if this is what I'm checking for? The machine is still on fill only, I cant stop it taking in water & m/c is not taking any notice of the start or on/off switch, the only way to stop it is to switch off at the mains. Any suggestions ? Thanx

Thats the pipe. It should connect to the pressure switch on the right hand side. Then connect to To bottom of the drum.

Status Update :

* The pipe/pressure switch looks fine & pretty well connected from what I see
* The m/c will only stop filling if I turn off at the plug or the mains water pipe.
* It begins filling as soon as I switch it on and doesn't respond to other
programmes.
* The 1st light is flashing now, together with the green, which is error code
F8 - heater relay, which sounds bad......

Any other suggestions at this point ? Thanx :(

You have had loads of error codes , sad to say pcb is now shot try emw for a ex pcb.
