My Indesit WIDL126S washer/drier is not drawing hot water on any programme/temperature. Cold is OK, and supply is on with hoses properly attached. With the cold isolated there is electrical activity but no hot water coming in. Is it possible that there is a blockage at the inlet? If so how can I access/clear it? Or am I completely on the wrong track?
Can anyone assist please?

Regards

Hot water is only drawn on certain programs at certain times

ie hot (60 degree and over) and only during the wash part of the program not the rinses.

Could be a failed solenoid valve on the hot water inlet, wiring or a PCB fault.

You can usually swap the wires from the cold water valve onto the hot water one to see if the solenoid operates.

Thanks for your help, Leccy758.
Previously the washing was warm at the end of the wash, but now it's stone cold regardless of the programme.
I think the solenoid sounds like an idea: I'll give it a try at the weekend.

Cheers,

DonDiy. :)

sounds like you have got the hot and cold the wrong way round
the machine would normally rinse on cold !!
