I run a short term apartment letting business and some apartments are nice and light and some are a bit gloomy due to small windows. I purchase indoor plants from Homebase (probably not the cheapest option !) but some just die after several months in the apartments that do not have much light. I presume this is the reason they die as they are watered once a week.

Anyway, I dont know a thing about indoor plants and just take pot luck (excuse the pun) when buying from Homebase. Cant aford for these to keep popping their cloggs as the large ones are very expensive.

Are there any indoor plants that are best suited to low light rooms and/or are there any types to avoid buying ????
