Inflation

No, you are lying again. You are obsessed with the the government. Follow the science (not the government).

OK, sounds good, so do we follow the UK scientists who say we need to self isolate for 5 days, or the New Zealand scientists who say we should self isolate for 24 days?
Sounds to me like they haven't got a ******* clue, much like yourself, a clueless internet troll.

Or if you test positive after 9 days do not go near anyone as you are highly contagious
If you test positive after 10 days just go on about your life as normal
Fantastic science

Or if you’re one side of a bridge wear masks everywhere, but if you’re the other side of the same bridge don’t wear any masks.

Luck?

Surely those that put the graft in and study the market are not reliant entirely on luck? Societal economics aside, luck alone will not carry you through a lifetime of economic risk taking.

i have in mind that if, as a young family man, you had scrimped and saved to buy a run down terraced house, and spent your spare time learning plumbing, plastering, wiring and concrete laying, then after 30 years it might be worth two million, or it might be worth 50 thousand, depending if you had the good fortune to buy in an area that was gentrified and prosperous, or in an area where industry collapsed down and the region fell into a decline.

The fate of the region you live in is nothing to do with your hard work and study.

once upon a time I worked for a company that made typewriters and carbon paper. Some of the repairmen and designers were very skilled and hard working. They're no better off now than if they'd been coalminers, or worked in the Rover factory. One of my colleagues bought shares in the company because he thought it was better than a pension.

When I was in Germany I happened to be near the Zeppelin works. Doing very well now. Who'd have thought it?

when you buy an asset which is subject to price inflation, you have benefitted from luck and the efforts of society as a whole.
Luck? No luck involved, it's called getting of my arse and making it work for me. At one point I had 4 mortgages, all of which have been self funding. Best bit of financial work I've ever done. I really regret paying into a pension scheme for 20 years.
Luck?

Thank you.

Got myself out of that game. Too much aggrevation. But yes , better than any pension.
There is an element of luck in that you have no control over whether house prices go up or down , often regardles of how much money you plough in.

Some posters frequently post claims and quotes without providing their source of information.

they’re called opinions.

So no answer?
No answer to what? You didn't ask a question.
If you meant that I didn't respond, why didn't you use the appropriate word?

But my answer to that would have been , there's no obligation to respond to nonsense.

Let me explain for you: If I say, "I think", or "I believe", or "in my opinion", or words to that effect, that would be my opinion.
However if I posted something like:
"It's official Godwasawoman is an idiot"
Without providing the source of my information. Then that would be me posting an unsubstantiated quote, making it look as though it was a widespread universal proven truth.
It isn't, even though you appear to be determined to prove it. Weirdly you do have your supporters. There's no accounting for taste.

I would have thought it was pretty obvious: in UK you follow the UK rules, in NZ, you follow the NZ rules.
Was that too difficult to work out?

Follow God and Jesus, they never lie and never change with prevailing fashions.
Were God and Jesus raging bigots?
Do you think God and Jesus would hero worship Enoch Powell?

Does your bible teaching suggest to you that Jesus would have shared your bigoted views:
Those days are still with us; if you live in an "enriched, vibrant, multicultural" area your house will be worth far less than it was if you bought it pre-enrichment.

Luckily for you nobody is dumb enough to make a comment like ‘ AngleEyes is dedinitely a multi user name troll with a capital E in the middle of his name’ .
They’d be more likely to say ‘AngleEyes is a troll’ . Everybody knows it’s a indisputable fact ,despite the fact that it only came from an opinion held by a person at that time. No link required, despite that several could be provided from here and other forums.
Fortunately you seem to have only one or two less intelligent brown nosers hanging off your every word. I wonder why .
So back to the original question of should mods be controlling what’s allowed based only on their own personal ‘opinions’ (there’s that word again) and should every single post contain a link to someone elses opinion ?,then , like I tried to explain to you , it’s unnecessary and unrealistic because people have opinions , which they should be allowed.
If they don’t sit with your own , ‘ignore’ or move on.
If you need to be constantly satisfied by scientific proof based debate I would respectfully suggest you may be in the wrong place.

Luck? No luck involved,
There's truth in all views.
Investors do study the markets, and the news. Their hard work usually does pay off. They are glued to such news that does affect investments. By the time the average 'pot luck' investor hears the news, it's out-of-date for serious investors.
But there is also some luck involved sometimes.
For instance, who could foresee that something like a pandemic, and relationships with senior politicians would create the opportunity to make millions?

Scientists lie too Denso.

I really don't know how the antivaxxer sheeple brigade make their minds up on anything, or where they get info they trust. Seemingly everyone lies...
