Not that I can see. You said that a DP light switch would be required, but then went on to say that you could do it (with a SP light switch) by flipping that switch on and off. I aded that you could avoid the need for that 'flipping' (or a DP switch), by using a momentary-action overload switch which emulated your flipping.

If you are considering letting you need to consult an Energy Assesor for advise. In my experience they do seem to be more concerned about keeping a house warm, I've spoken to a couple and they have been very helpful in advising how to meet such requirements.
