Hi all. I’m installing 22mm t&g boards onto joists (suspended floor). Should I nail or screw them, and should I glue together?

Thanks
Jon

Glue to joists with D4 poly adhesive, glue the joints with PVA adhesive and screw down with flooring screws. Don't, under any circumstances, use full thread screws.

Up to you.
Nailing looks neatest (when done properly- google Portanail), screws are fine but more visible. If you do use screws make sure you don't use full thread screws.
I've never glued timber boards down

D4 glue and full thread screws or a specialised screw that has two different threads. And drive the screw in right next to your foot as you stand on the board you're driving, using your weight to help close up

2x lost head nails per joist are fine, no glue
I wouldn't; the only squeak in my entire house is where the joiner, installing one timber frame wall panel, couldn't be bothered getting a new box of screws when he ran out so used his nailer

You forgot to mention the type of board , chipboard or timber floor boards . Therefor you have conflicting advice .

DO NOT GLUE! under any circumstance. If you have to lift a board glue down/together makes access to the void impossible or expensive. Only screw down the boards that have pipes or cables running under. Use 'shanked ' screws (used to be inch & three quarter No8's) for the remaining boards 2&1/2inch lost head nails ( Toolstation 97972). Indelibly mark the boards you screw down with the sides the tongue is (I assume you will be covering the chipboards).
DO NOT GLUE!

If in doubt, look up manufacturer's specification for fixing P5 t&g boards. (to save you the time, I can tell you it is glue+glue+screw.)

I wouldn't either in light of the latest information!

Screws it is.

Glue optional.

I beeswax polished the t&g of some chipboard service panels, and tops of the joists too.

I have had 60-70 sqm of 22 mm oak floated on Weyroc for over 20 years without any problems other than some water damage in the kitchen.
