im currently on the proces of redoing our kitchen, athough its alot more than just the units so i thought we would go the hole hog and insulate the walls, celing, floor etc as the house is a 1930s semi with solid brick walls and does not retain heat very well.
Is this membrane ok to use for the following task or should i use something else.

http://www.screwfix.com/prods/67489/Building/Damp-Proof/Damp-Proof-Membrane-1000ga-4m-x-15m

1. Place the membrane onto the brick wall.
2. Baton over the membrane with 25*50mm baton
3. Celotex between baton (25mm thick)
4. Plasterboard over the top
5. Skim

Thanks for your help in advance.

Cheers
Jamie
