Hi guys

I am doing a loft conversion and changing a hip to a gable. I am going to build the gable out of timber stud, possibly out of 7x2s or 6x2s. The new gable will be built on top of a 9-inch solid existing brickwork. The outside of the new gable will either be tile-hung or rendered.

I was wondering what is the best way to insulate the new wall?

Thanks in advance for your help.

There are 'a number of ways to skin a cat' as they say. However, you need to be aware that the wall must achieve a minimum U-value of 0.3 W/m2K in order to comply with current BRegs. You need to be aware of this.
