insulation under self level

Hello All,

Have a room with concrete floor and we plan to raise the floor by couple cm using self levelling compound. Question is, is it worth putting some kind of insulation board under screed and if yes what should we use?

There is nothing you could put under 2cm of self leveller.

And don't be misled by the word "self" in "self-levelling compound"
