Hi, I have been working on an Intellisense alarm 800L the original issue was externall siren keeps going off every few minutes for 5 seconds and then turning off again. I have since changed the battery inside which has stopped the siren going off all the time and all the fuses are good, and system is reporting no tampers.
When testing the system I can trigger the external siren (both by bell test and manually triggering the alarm as if there is in intruder) however im unable to deactivate and stop the siren sounding (internal siren and panel all stop and reset as expected when code entered and then reset), have tested all connection via multimeter and all are as expected however -R to - on BELL section is 0v
The external siren speakers are wired into speaker + & - same as the internal sounder and when removing the wires the siren doesn't trigger which is odd as normally external siren isn't wired to these connections
Any idea what is causing this issue of not being able to reset the external siren only?
