Intercom help - voice issue - entrotec

Looking for some help from the community....

I have an entrotec council intercom system and its mostly working but from the street you can't hear what's being said in the flat.

Looking for some advice for things I could test / replace.

To clarify a few things...
It's an entrotec system. I have a new ED4+ handset.

The exterior buzzer works and calls the handset. I can let the person in too.

I can hear the person at the door but they can't hear me.

My handset is brand new and likely fine. I replaced a handset hoping that would help (and because the handset was scruffy).

So.

• Could be my wires are damaged (or connection to the PCB)
• Could be the the PCB isn't activating the 2 way chat properly
• Could be the wires / connection to the door
• Could be the speaker in the door
• Could it be something else?

Any tips for getting this working would be great.

Did it have that issue before you replaced it ?
Have you asked the other people in the block if they are having the same issue ?

Yes same issue before I changed the handset.
My neighbors have complained it's not working for them either but I haven't had a chance to check exactly what's not working for them. I'll do that.
