Intergas Combi Compact HRE Boiler - help please

Boilers in the loft top of the heating system yes ?

Probably just needs venting !!

Top up the pressure, then on top of the boiler left hand side at the back there is a manual bleed valve virtually the same as on a radiator just vent the boiler ......

Sorted.

TRY IT BEFORE YOU CALL ANYONE ELSE !!!!

My thought as well gasbanni.

The manual vent should have have been changed for an aav.

How much better we work if we have the right information, or any information in this case.

trouble with the aav's is leaking, had one on a remeha caused a mess on top of the boiler despite a spirovent being fitted......

Used to run the return vertical at the side of the boiler tee in for the boiler connection beneath the boiler and on top the return higher then the boiler fit a aav..........dont know why i stopped doing it really :?

Hi, thanks for above, ,must admit you lost me on the techy parts...
So intergas recommended people came, I explained the fault and they say they have changed the l/land wrong loom? What is this? I asked and he said a loose wire... Thing is, house felt cold and rheum I gointo loft and heating off again with the same 13 fault coming up so I'm guessing its the pressure thing as described above? Can anyone talk me through it really basically.

Do you know how to bleed a radiator ?

If so its the same on the top of the boiler lh side near the back.

If you dont you need a standard radiator bleed key.

Try it on a radiator first, bit of tissue handy, turn the bleed nipple anticlockwise dont screw it out !!!! if air comes out close it when the water starts to come out. dont tighten it too tight. If water comes out straight away close it straight away !!

When youve tried it on a radiator then try it on the top of the boiler .

If you turn the button off on front of the boiler the pressure is displayed digitally so your looking for a minimum of 1.0

Thats it !

Flashing 13, is the link between 6-7 low voltage in place.

Better give us some information about the controls.

Didnt bother to look up fault codes !

Hi,

Controls on boiler or controls of heating?

External controls, I know what's in the boiler.

At the moment I would guess they wrongly removed the link 6-7 on the low voltage side. Need information. And you may need to get the Intergas guy back.

Flashing 13 isn't in the book, check the training manual I posted in the DB & CCR.

Should be a loose/broken or missing wire. Maybe the link has been removed wrongly.

I phoned intergas recommended guy who told me he as to phone intergas tomorrow and he cant cone back out until Monday... No help at all!

This thread is ridiculous.

Information requested. ??????

Whats your DIY ability like, when it come to poking around with electricity.

Try powering the boiler off, checking the air vent and powering it back on, top the pressure up if needed.

Jesus, any one would think I was a DIY er shoving flow switches up my #rse for the last 7 years of dealing with these.

S13 is an S1 sensor error (it is in the book BTW) . Your boiler almost certainly needs a new one. It wil take you longer to make a cup of fricking tee.
