Interior wood stain

Could someone suggest a good brand of light oak wood stain for interior oak veneer doors please?

I want to keep colour, but door tech information says can't use oil. "

You mean
"Osmo Door-Oil is a unique oil and wax combination designed to protect interior veneered wooden doors." So ignore door manufacturer saying "not suitable for treatment/finishing with any kind of oil, wax"
No idea why though, I have loads of danish oil, sure i used that in last house on veneered doors. No idea why they suggest paint!! Maybe they need better glue!
